Craig D. Bachman has been a lawyer since 1978 representing clients in all phases of business and commercial litigation with emphasis in intellectual property, antitrust, trade regulation, insurance practices and professional malpractice.

Brian Bodine is a registered patent who has extensive experience litigating patent, trademark, trade secret, and other intellectual property related disputes at both the trial and appellate level. Ken Davis chairs Lane Powell’s Intellectual Property and Technology practice  group. Paul Swanson’s practice is primarily devoted to litigating patent, trademark, copyright, unfair competition, software development and trade secret law disputes. He has tried cases to judgment in each of these IP practice areas. He represents inventors and patentees and also defends prominent intellectual property law firms in patent legal malpractice cases. Paul’s experience in patent law and the Firm’s reputation in the insurance industry and for professional liability work combine to make the Firm a top choice as defense counsel for IP law firms who have been sued for patent legal malpractice or with respect to other alleged professional liability causes of action.

Paul regularly speaks on and writes about intellectual property issues. He is a former chair (2000-2001) of the Washington State Bar Association’s Intellectual Property Section and he has organized and chaired two of the WSBA/IP section’s recent annual intellectual property institutes. He chaired a WBSBA/IP trademark committee whose work led to a recent revision of Washington’s trademark law.

Paul is a member of the International Association of Culinary Professionals (“IACP”). He spoke about intellectual property issues facing culinary professionals at the IACP’s 2001 and 2003 annual conferences. Paul was the co-chair of the IACP’s “Endangered Treasures” 2006 annual dinner event that raised funds for the preservation of historically significant cookbook archives.
